Decorum are five very talented female artists who all studied in the Manchester School of Art Textile Department.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see and buy their work which includes textile art, postcards, greeting cards, stitched journals, embroidered accessories and small-scale sculptural art.

Since graduating all five artists have remained working from their individual studios in the Northwest Region making work using, stitch, print and mixed media processes.
Their enduring connection to cloth and its unique properties has pushed them to cross boundaries with a single aim – to make challenging work that questions what textile art can be.

In 2017 they established the group Decorum and since then have had several touring exhibitions in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and South Lakes.
The group work in close collaboration developing work that is rooted in contemporary textile practice but also reflects historical textile themes. Their shared passion for this has remained a constant facet of their working practice; and remains a common thread that binds them together.
